  • Germany
  • Great Britain
  • Italy
  • Kazakhstan
  • Latvia
  • Norway
  • Russia
  • Switzerland
  • Slovakia
  • Sweden
  • USA

In order to compete, players must first register for their respective qualifying tournament. In order to participate in the IIHF virtual fan competition, certain requirements must be met. All players must be at least 16-years-old and citizens of the country in whose qualifier they wish to start.

From a technical point of view, players must own the full version of NHL™ 20 (available free of charge via EA Access, among others) and the respective console. Entry requires active online membership of PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live and Internet access. In addition, all participants should be able to communicate with their opponents and the admins in English.

Before you can sign up for a qualifier, you must first create an account. If you are new on the site, you can click on "Register" and then fill out the registration form. As soon as everything has been filled in and sent off, players will receive an activation link by e-mail. This link must be confirmed within 48 hours, otherwise the account will be deactivated. Once this last hurdle has also been cleared, there is nothing to prevent participation in the IIHF Esports Fan Championship.
